The “Awareness Training on R Software” organized for the academic staff of the Uşak University Faculty of Applied Sciences was successfully held on Thursday, May 8, 2025.

The training was delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. M. Niyazi ÇANKAYA, a faculty member of our department, and took place at UBF–301 classroom with strong participation from academic staff.

During the session, participants were introduced to the basics of R software, an open-source and powerful statistical computing tool. The training covered practical applications in areas such as statistical analysis, data visualization, and modeling.

Key topics included:
- R interface and basic command structure
- Data processing and manipulation
- Creating graphs and tables
- Practical tips for using R in academic research

The training aimed to support academic staff in their research processes and raise awareness of digital tools in data analysis. Participants provided positive feedback on the session’s content and applicability.
